The original prophecy that awakened this movement was received by one of the leaders the summer of 2005, and is from Haggai 1:4. “Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruins.” It was a word that convicted this leader but was forgotten as he moved on with his responsibilities with the mission agency with which he was working. It wasn’t until the summer of 2007 that he was reminded of the word from the Lord when a friend he was discipling wrote him about a vivid dream full of symbolism and asked him to pray about it. In the dream he saw a house that had not been maintained and was in a terrible state of disrepair, with holes and damage. Then the dream switched to a scene in which one bird was pecking out the eyes of a second bird, but the second bird would not defend itself. Eventually the first bird killed the second. As the missionary prayed about his friends dream, the Lord spoke to him and said that the dream was not for his disciple but for him. The house in disrepair was the house of prayer in his own life. He had forgotten God’s word to him two years previous. God reminded him that he had given him spiritual sight through prayer, but that the enemy was slowly blinding him through his apathy, with the aim of destroying his spiritual sight and faith altogether. As the Lord spoke he broke down in tears and repentance and began a long period of prayer and fasting. It was during this time of discipline that God revealed to him the plan to restore the house of prayer, not only in his own life but in the church.
A Cuban leader in the prayer movement was given a vision in which he saw a multitude of people kneeling with hands upraised to heaven in prayer and worship. In a brilliant light a voice called out from heaven “See darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” It turned out to be the exact words from Isaiah 60:2, which he later discovered. And then a song, a beautiful song filled the air and filled the leader, synchronizing his whole being with the heavenly melody and lyrics: “Give us a new beginning! Ignite a passion in us once again!” He has never forgotten the words or the heavenly melody of the Bride singing to her Bridegroom. That vision was given as the prayer renewal in Cuba was just beginning. Since then the church in Cuba is seeing a new thing and a passion for Christ that is spreading across the nation.
During a Divine Prayer Clock conference a prophecy was given that the Lord has been waiting for his people to become synchronized in prayer, like an orchestra, and like an army. He then said: “A dangerous fire has been started that no-one can put out.” Christians have not understood that the most dangerous activity that we can unleash against the enemy is organized synchronized prayer. We have seen prayer as a tiring, powerless exercise. The prayer meeting is about to become a dangerous war room, where we no longer pray lists, but receive and send out God’s signals in the war of righteousness, as the kingdoms of this earth one by one become the kingdom of our our Lord and King (Revelation 11:15).
Several Cuban leaders and intercessors received visions concerning a key that the Lord was giving. In the first vision the intercessor found himself deep in the earth in a dark cavern were the darkness and the smell of death was overwhelming. The intercessor knew that the odor of death was coming from a source, and discovered the source to be a large ancient and rusted key. Then out of no where a brilliant hand appeared and took the key and suddenly what was ancient and rusted became a brilliant gold key that transformed the dark cavern of death into a large wide open field, filled with light and color. And suddenly, a voice spoke: “I did not have to do this for you, but I have done it. With this key you can open any door!” In Revelation Jesus first says: “I am the Living One, I was dead and behold I am alive for ever and ever. And I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Revelation 1:18). In Revelation Jesus then says: “These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. Whatever he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no-one can open” (Revelation 4:7). Shortly after, another intercessor was given a dream in which he was before a large ancient treasure chest, and he discovered a key. There were crowds of people all around in anticipation of what would be discovered when the treasure chest was finally opened. Jesus said to Peter: “I have given you the keys to the kingdom of heaven, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19). We have been given the keys that can open heavens doors and shut the doors of hell. Christ is patient because he does not want anyone to be lost. The last great harvest will be preceded by a world wide revival of prayer. The keys Christ has given us is prayer.
Summer 2009 – Fall 2011
Beginning summer 2009 until the present, repeated visions and prophecies have been given that the Lord is raising up His army, an army of intercessors. The prophecy was first given in Canada, then in Ecuador, then in Cuba, and most recently in Canada. The last prophecy identifies that we are living stones in Christ’s house of prayer. However, we are more than stones, making up a living temple in which the Spirit of God dwells. The living stones are also great powerful soldiers. This was the prophecy received at a prayer conference in the fall of 2010. It was received during a time of worship. The intercessor writes: “It is during this time I found myself in a vision where I was standing over the plains of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I was not on the ground but at a point where I could see the mountains and the coast lands, first to the west and then to the east and north. With my back to the south I then heard these words: “Call to the land and command it to give up those who the Lord has called out and set apart.” As these words were
being spoken, stone giants began to emerge out of the ground at the Alberta foothills and progressed towards the center of the plains. They were all different sizes but all the same strength. The same thing began to happen in the other directions (east and north). The had broad shoulders, muscular arms and legs, fists and feet like sledge hammers and faces of flint, set for battle and they occupied the land. There was no sign of the enemy but the whole valley was full of the Lord’s army. “Tell the land to release His army. Declare it over the west. Declare it over the east. Declare it over the north, sound his call. Up from the ground the army of the Lord will come to do battle on the Plains of Abraham. Now is the time!
One of the Divine Prayer Clock intercessor leaders received a vision during a prayer retreat in Ecuador. In the vision he could see the Ark of God’s presence. Suddenly it was opened and he was lifted up to see inside. He could see the stone tablets which represented a time when the hearts of God’s people were like stone, and his covenant was external law, and became death to them because they refused to listen to Him. However, in that moment a brilliant force of light grew over the stone tablets and shot out from the tablets and into the heart and being of the intercessor. With that the understanding came: “The time of the stone hearts is over. I will give them a new heart and put my Spirit in them, and write my covenant on their hearts, and move them to do all my will (Ezekiel 36:26,27). And if they will position themselves before me, I will give them my word as I gave it to John the Baptist in the desert and to the Apostle Paul. By waiting on me I will give them a word that will shake nations!”
The Divine Prayer Clock vision was presented on a Sunday in a large Methodist church in downtown Havana. At that same gathering a Nigerian pastor came and presented a vision God had given him while at home praying in his church in Nigeria. In fact, it was the vision and the urgency of its message that prompted him to buy a plane ticket and fly to Havana. The vision God gave him during prayer was of 4 books. But one of the books was larger than the others. He was eager to read the title on the cover of the largest book. It said “Havana”. God revealed to the pastor the following truths concerning the vision: “The four books are the 4 cardinal spiritual points of the world. Each book represents a major revival that will take place soon. The largest will be in Havana and will affect all of the western world.” The Nigerian pastor had not even heard of Havana before. Was it a nation, or was it a city? What was it? So he found a world atlas and discovered that Havana was the capital city of Cuba. He then realized he had to buy a ticket and fly to Havana to tell the people what God was about to do. As he shared the vision that Sunday, the church stood and gave thanks to God with a roar of excitement. It was now clear why God was prompting united prayer with such an urgency. The pastor did not tell us which cities or nations were written on the covers of the other books. Maybe God is withholding that information until it is evident which nations are seeking him most, with most fervency in prayer.
In northern Saskatchewan, during a prayer conference, a cree lady shared a vision she had been given of the Lord. In the vision he showed her many seats of authority, and then placed over the back of each seat robes of authority. But the seats were empty. During the conference she came to understand that those seats were the seats of his Kingdom of Priests. They were for the people Christ had saved, redeemed and raised with him to sit with him and rule the earth through intercession. She knew that not only was God calling the First Nations to their place of authority but also the other believers to join them. Christ is calling us to wait on him that we might be clothed with robes of power and authority from on high! (Luke 24:49). It’s time we take up our seat with Him in the heavenly realms to extend his Kingdom over our cities, our nation and over the earth.
